"If your actions inspire others to dream more,

learn more, do more and become more,

you are a leader."

Welcome

The R. Scott Hitt Foundation believes that the obstacles facing full Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender equality are enormous.  Confronting and eliminating these obstacles will require a new generation of activists to launch, lead, and work within organizations that will ultimately prevail in the battle for full equality.  Our goal is to provide an opportunity for the next generation of community leaders to receive a solid foundation in development and leadership skills in order to achieve future success.

Annually, the foundation awards grants for funding paid internships at pro-LGBT 501(c)3 non-profit organizations.  Applicants do not need to identify as LGBT in order to apply.
